  • New Scanners for Scunthorpe General Hospital
    10th January 2012

    Seymour and Castle are due to start work next week on a new facility at Scunthorpe General Hospital, refurbishing the empty Lindsey Suite to provide a new unit to house a new MRI Scanner and CT Scanner.  This facility is hoped to be up and running by mid summer.  This project is working in conjunction with ISG Building Contractors.


  • Endoscopy Unit - Louth County Hospital
    4th January 2012

    Seymour and Castle have been awarded the electrical contract for the new Endoscopy Unit at Louth County Hospital.  Working alongside Mowbray and Son Builders.  Work is due to start immediately and should be completed by the end of March.


  • Solar Power for Lincolnshire
    30th December 2011

    Seymour and Castle along with their partner Jetion Solar Europe have, through the YPO Pro 5 Framework Agreement and Procurement Lincolnshire, been awarded the contract to supply and install Solar Photovoltaic Systems to a number of high profile public buildings throughout Lincolnshire. 

    Andrew Berry, Managing Director said "We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract particularly given the background of the recent changes made by the Government with regard to the Feed in Tariffs (FiTs). Our success in this contract shows how Local Authorities are prepared to back enterprising SME's from within their own region. We see this as a great vote of confidence in small businesses in what are very trying economic times."


  • Salvation Army Hostel soon to open.
    29th December 2011

    After delays due to problems with the land, work has finally commenced on a new 35 bed Salvation Army hostel at Hainton Square in Grimsby, working alongside Lindum Construction.  Seymour and Castle have been awarded the electrical contract, which is due to finish in March, allowing this facility to finally open to those who are in need.
